Following the emergence of new technologies and the consolidation of Pilkington’s activities over the past decade, 104 acres of the Cowley Hill Works were purchased by BXB Cowley Hill Ltd. In support of their outline planning application for 1100 homes DBR designed the site remedial strategy gaining EHO and EA approval in late 2020.
DBR provided subcontractor services to John Sisk and Son Ltd and Man Life for the enablement and remediation works associated with a proposed mixed-use development. This development involves the construction of three 8-storey apartment blocks with ground floor commercial spaces at the former cotton mill site, spanning across two parcels: Eliza Yard and Jersey Wharf.
DBR provided sub-contractor services to Bowmer & Kirkland for the enablement and remediation works associated with the Four New Bailey Square development. This 175,000 sq ft project comprises Grade A office space spread over 10 floors.
